Chemistry
Our Chemistry division deals with specific topics ranging from biochemistry to material science, as well as applications in laboratory settings. Many events have hands-on lab portions in addition to standard written tests of knowledge.
We're composed
of three events: Forensics, Chemistry Lab, and Materials Science.
Events
Forensics
This event is a lab event, where students perform tests such as powder, hair, blood and fingerprint identification to solve a crime.
Chemistry Lab
This event involves a lab exercise and a test on two chemistry topics that rotate each year, with this year's being thermodynamics and physical properties.
Materials Science
This event requires students to take a written test with a lab portion, covering the entire field of study in a broad exam.
